Job Description

The quality technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control inspections on incoming materials, components, and finished products.
  • Conduct testing and analysis using various tools and equipment to evaluate product quality.
  • Document and report any deviations or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and quality data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality-related matters.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality assurance or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection role preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and locations as needed.
