Buffer

The buffer will skillfully operate buffing and grinding equipment to meticulously eliminate defects from metal components, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards with precision and expertise.

• Operating buffing/grinding equipment to remove defects from metal parts according to quality standards.
• Reading work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications.
• Properly maintaining buffing equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance on the buffing wheel as needed.
• Completing all buffing production paperwork.
• Sorting and packing metal parts and properly labeling part containers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to wear a dust mask/respirator for the full length of the shift.
